ON-SITE LASER PEENING

Our Mobile Laser Peening Facility enables us to apply this technology to large stationary parts located at the customer’s site.

One of the keys to applying this technology on-site is an active beam delivery systems, which manipulates the laser while the object to be peened remains stationary. The moveable beam improves processing speed and simplifies motion for peening complex geometries. In addition, the laser generation system can be located several hundred feet from the part to be laser peened and the beam optically “piped” to the work area.

Our on-site laser peening process is ideal for large, difficult-to-move components such as those found in marine, offshore oil and gas, petrochemical and on-site aerospace repair and overhaul applications.
